The Phoenix House
Welcome to Our Transitional Living House
At Recovery In Action, we are proud to introduce our The Pheonix House, a safe and nurturing environment for women and their children as they navigate the journey of recovery. This residence is dedicated to providing families with a secure space where they can heal, rebuild, and grow together, and follows the NARR guidelines for recovery residences!
A Sanctuary for Women and Children
The Recovery Residence is specifically designed for:
Women in recovery
Pregnant women
Mothers with children
Our mission is to offer a safe space where women and their children can experience stability during their recovery process. At the Recovery Residence, we understand the unique challenges faced by families, and we are committed to providing an environment that fosters love, care, and growth for both women and their children.
Focusing on Family Recovery
Recovery is not just an individual journey—it’s one that affects the entire family, especially children. At the Recovery Residence, we prioritize creating a family-friendly environment where mothers and children can strengthen their bonds, find joy in everyday moments, and build the foundation for a healthy future together. Our home offers a peaceful setting for children to feel safe and supported, while their mothers work toward long-term recovery.
Flexible Payment Options
We offer several ways to access the services at our Recovery Residence:
Private Pay: Families can self-fund their stay.
CPS-Contracted Services: We are contracted with Child Protective Services (CPS) for RR.
Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System: Residents may also request services to be covered by El Dorado County’s Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System. To explore this option, call 530-621-6290, option 5 during business hours or the 24/7 Access Line at 1-800-929-1955.
Creating a Safe and Supportive Community
The Phoenix House is more than just a residence; it is a community of women and children supporting one another through the recovery process. We believe that recovery is most successful when it includes connection and shared experience, and at the Recovery Residence, we create a space where families can bond with each other, share their journeys, and grow stronger together.
