About us

Our Story

We have experienced the miracle you are looking for, and trust us… it is “beyond what you can conceive”.

The founders of Recovery In Action services are long-term members of a sober living community created over 20 years ago in El Dorado County. As recovered alcoholics and addicts, we have made the journey that you’re about to embark on and know the fear and doubt you may be feeling. We have all struggled with faith, hope, and acceptance, so when we say we understand, we do truly understand.

We give it away to keep it.

It is our purest belief that when we help others we are helping ourselves as well. Our goal is to show you that life does not stop the moment you stop using drugs or alcohol; in fact, it has only just begun. Yes, some days are going to be harder than others, but remember that many have navigated this journey before you. With our experience, strength, and hope, we want to help you to thrive in a life of sobriety.

Help is always within reach

We recognize addiction is a disease and we’re here to help you get your life back. Our program is designed to treat the whole person and our staff is committed to providing you with the support and resources that can help with your recovery. This journey is rewarding and life-changing, but it is not without its challenges.

You can do this… but not alone.

We will show you the path that we have walked and together, we will walk hand in hand as recovering addicts.
